TENNIS!!!

Today i did something rather unusual, i mean so not like me...

I went to play tennis!!!

Oh my, honestly i suck big time when it comes to sports. And i don't enjoy it at all.

But i gotta admit, it was kind of fun.

5 of us played at Yio Chu Kang sports complex.

JC,Lenice,Elvis,Francis, and myself.

They're all from work. Oh except francis. He's Elvis' friend, whom we borrowed the tennis rackets from. He's a pro lah! Real expert. Cos he took tennis lessons before.

But he was kind enough to teach me the basics...And at the end of the day, i managed to grasp the basics of it and once u know how to play, it becomes fun!!!

But the heat was killing us. We all got sun burnt. LOL.

And after tennis, we went to J8, to have Mee Pok.

Next week, we're trying something abit more relaxing which we can do indoors, like bowling or monopoly! +p

Well, thats it for today.

I shall enjoy the rest of my friday night by staying up late. ( i only get to do that on fri and sat )

Great look!

There's nothing specific i wanna blog about today.
But i wanna share that i've recently started loving the whole waisted belt look!
I know the trend has been there for quite a long time already. But i'm truly amazed about the wonders it can do to your body!!!
It goes really well with a long top and a pair of leggings! The whole look just compliments each other so well! Haha
For Example, i took this recent photo and i can clearly see those curves!

Actually, the whole idea was adapted and brought forward from how women dressed in the 1930's. Southern women in the early 90's would wear something like a torso-tightener in order to enhance their chest area and tighten their waist. Giving them a perfect hour-glass shape. But back then, it was worn inside, and it really super duper tight. Some women had breathing difficulties and it was a reason why women needed medical care in the 1930's.


The significance of such a shape back then was actually, wealth and power and domination. It meant that these women were very well to do. They usually were ranked on top on the hierachy of Social Economic Status of the 30's.
Modern fashion designers have brought forward the whole idea, and modified it into a waist-belt. I love the whole idea of it!!!
So that was something i wanted to share...

Nails+Cam-whoring

Halo! I'm so tired.It was a long day! But a really fun day!!!
I met Lenice earlier at TPY cos we planned on doing our NAILS!!!...
So we walked the whole of TPY central in search of good deals for express mani and pedi. After walking for so long, we found this shop doing mani for $4 and pedi for $6!!!. How can we reject such an offer? So Lenice did both her hands and feet. I just did my feet. ( My fingernails are too short to be beautified! LOL )...
But the quality wasnt too bad, it turned out super pretty!

And Lenice's Fingernails turned out super pretty too!! I'm so jealous!!!

Fingernails in red always seem so chic and classic!!!
After getting such satisfactory service, we headed to YaKun Kaya Toast for Tea!!!
Obviously,there was cam-whoring going on...



It was super coincidence that we were both wearing a black sleeveless top! Haha
And i just the Eggs and Kaya Toast that Ya Kun Serve. I can never get sick of it.
SO after grabbing a bite we went to work!!!
And the Cam-whoring didnt stop!!!!

After Work We went to Macs to have dinner! Cam-whoring started again!!!

I love my job!

Just came back from work. Oh btw i'm working as a Telemarketer at ERA Real Estate. My job rocks!. I work every Mon-thurs from 7pm-10pm. I get paid $6.50 per hour. Which is actually really good money for what i'm doing. Bcos my job is so freaking easy and not tiring or physical at all. I just sit down at my office table and call agents and home owners. And i get an extra $5 commission for every appointment i make. Hopefully this job can last. Bcos i'm still comtemplating whether to work after poly starts.But if i can cope i will surely continue.
And my friends at work are really funny and cool pple. We get along so well. Maybe cos we're all around the same age group. We're all super comfy with each other. Most of them are poly year 1 also. And there's a guy who's in the same course as me in RP.How cool is that? Haha.
We always go have supper after work at the TPY lorong 5 hawker centre. The food there's quite not bad and supper is always super fun with them.

Poly stuff

I am blogging after ages! Haha...
And the reason is my new laptop! Lol i bought an acer aspire lappy last week. Well, its for poly, which will officially start on april 20th. Oh yep. I'm entering Republic polytechnic, school of hospitality, Customer Relationship and Service Management. But frankly, i'm not at all excited about starting poly. Really dont know why.Well maybe one of the reasons is that during year 1 we wont be learning anything related to out course. In year 1, everyone learns the same things. Some GK stuff. Which doesnt excite me at all. And we wont get to meet our same coursemates. Instead we get to mix around. Secondly, i'm gonna spend the entire 3 years of poly in the laptop.LOL. But i dont really like that idea. I know most kids would think that its super cool to study in lappies. But not me!!!! I'm a books person.LOL. Well i'm just hoping to ace my assignments and get good grades. Tts it for now
